Learn for Life is an association working within education and culture in close cooperation with Nordfyns Højskole and other educational and cultural institutions.
LEARN FOR LIFE
Learn for Life develops and coordinates culture and learning programs as well as exchange of educators, educational experts and senior pedagogues. The activities are carried out in close cooperation with Nordfyns Højskole, [North Funen Folk High School] which conducts courses of 2 and 3 weeks.The focal point is Hans Christian Andersen’s fairy tales and values as well as Danish pedagogy and folk school traditions.
Education and culture
Learn for Life is an association that covers a broad spectrum within education and cultural tourism. The association originates from the cooperation with the “Hans Christian Andersen International Kindergarten College”. After two years of experience (2017–2018) with courses for kindergarten educators, a need arose for courses and cultural activities for other target groups.
Organization
A working group was behind the first initiatives from early 2018, and in December, the association Learn for Life was founded. The chairman of the association is consultant Mogens Godballe, Nordfyns Højskole. Board members are Ann Guo Skov, Mette Hjorth from Børnehuset Skoven, and Jørgen Galsgaard, former head of Skt. Klemens Kindergarten. Lisa Johansen is the association’s secretariat manager.
