Nordfyns Højskole

Nordfyns Højskole is one of 77 folk high schools in Denmark. The folk high school is the main partner of the project that creates the physical framework and develops courses and programs.

The school resides in a former village school house dating back to 1914. In 2005, Nordfyns Højskole was founded in its current form. Previously, from 1968, the Japanese Tadao Chiba had run a boys’ home and later a Danish-Japanese culture folk high school that focused on social welfare and the Danish educational system.
Since 2005, Principal Mogens Godballe has welcomed students from all over the world.
